Frogs go through a remarkable growth process. It begins when a female frog lays eggs in water. These eggs are tiny and often attached to plants or other objects.
After a few days, the eggs hatch into tadpoles. Tadpoles look very different from adult frogs. They have long tails and no legs. They live in the water and breathe through gills.
As time goes by, tadpoles start to develop legs. First, they grow two hind legs, and then two front legs. Their tails gradually get shorter.
During this transformation, the tadpoles also change their way of breathing. They develop lungs and start to breathe air.
Finally, the tadpoles fully transform into adult frogs. The adult frogs have four legs, a shorter tail or no tail at all, and they can live both in water and on land.
The growth of frogs is a fascinating process of nature's adaptation and evolution.
