In Praise of Water's Grace
Beneath the sun's relentless gaze,
Water flows, a life-giving race.
A precious gem, a silent song,
In rivers, lakes, and streams belong.
It whispers tales of ancient days,
Through forests, deserts, and prairies vast.
It nourishes the earth's green cloak,
And dances in the morning's mists.
Yet, oh, how lightly we treat it,
As if it were an endless fleet.
But rivers grow faint with sorrow,
And lakes reflect the sky's regret.
So let us cherish this gift divine,
With every drop, with every sign.
For water's life is precious, true,
And every drop is worth a treasure.
